How can my law firm benefit from your services?

Do I have to sign a contract before using your service?

Yes, we require all customers to sign a retainer and/or consulting agreement with us.

How does Remote Online Notarization (RON) work?

  1. The signer will email their PDF documents to mosaiclss@outlook.com so that they can be uploaded into our online notary technology platform used for notarizations.

  2. The signer will then be sent a separate email containing a link to their notary session. During this process, the signer's identity is screened, and the signer will be prompted to answer questions based on their personal and credit history (KB Authentication), verifying their identification documents according to the requirements of the State of Texas.

  3. Once the signer has passed the identification session, the Notary session will begin, and the signer will then communicate with the Notary through the online session using the audiovisual notary platform.

  4. After the notarization is complete, and all documents have been electronically signed and notarized, the notary will update their Notary Journal records and email the signer the notarized documentation.

 

What do I need to have for a notarization?

  1. A current state ID or driver’s license , US Government issued ID or Passport (CANNOT BE EXPIRED)

  2. The documentation that needs to be notarized.

  3. Any necessary witness(es) needed for the signing.

  4. The physical presence of the signer, in sound mind and not being forced to sign the documentation. and

  5. Acknowledgement of the agreed on notary fees.

 

What if I need a notarization for an ill family member in the hospital or nursing home?

We are happy to meet you at a hospital and/or nursing facility within our travel area. We will follow all precautions and safety protocols required by the hospital and/or nursing facility. Please note that the patient will be required to have a current, valid ID and will need to be of sound mind to sign the documentation. They will need to be aware of the document(s) being signed.

 

How does the estate planning services work?

Once you have decided to proceed with our estate planning services, the following events will occur:

  1. Initial Intake: We will schedule a meeting to discuss everything we will need from you to prepare your Will and/or Trust. Once we have all the necessary information, we will begin preparing the documents.

  2. Attorney Consultation: After Mosaic Legal Support Services has completed the documents, we will schedule your session with the consulting attorney who will go over and explain everything in your Will and/or Trust.

  3. Will signing ceremony: Finally, after you have reviewed and approved all of the documentation, we will finalize all of the documents and schedule your Will signing ceremony, which will need to take place in the presence of your designated witnesses.

 

Why plan for a funeral in advance?

By planning in advance, you can make informed decisions, compare prices and options, and discuss your preferences with your family. Additionally, you relieve your family from handling arrangements on their own, which helps ease the burden they must face when planning a funeral from a financial and emotional standpoint.

Can I transfer my prearranged plan to a different funeral home?

Yes, our prearranged plans are 100% transferrable at any time. The cost that was agreed upon during your initial prearrangement contract is final. However, it is important to note that under certain conditions, you may not be refunded for a cost difference. For example, if you transfer your plan to a funeral home with higher rates, you may be required to pay the remaining balance.
